About the coffee:
Elkins Arsila - one of the first Specialty coffee growers in his community, known for his meticulous care—harvests only ripe cherries, gently depulps them, and dries them with the natural mucilage on raised beds. This “honey process” method highlights the sweetness and fruity notes of the Geisha variety, creating a coffee with gentle, balanced acidity and elegant clarity of flavor. It’s a coffee that reflects both the mountain nature of Antioquia and Elkin’s passion. On mountain slopes with volcanic soil and a steady climate, coffee can be harvested twice a year, giving it special diversity and a rich flavor character.
About the roastery:
Fomins Specialty Coffee Roastery
is a roastery created by the owners of Boulangerie Liepāja in a historic building where coffee was roasted and sold already 100 years ago. The roastery continues Liepāja’s coffee traditions at a new level of quality, roasting with ROEST P3000, Stronghold, and Nucleus Link equipment to highlight the unique flavor nuances of Specialty coffee’s diverse varieties and regions.
