The Look. Irina Tīre

The book "The Look" compiles portraits created by Irina Tīre - both more and less well-known people of Liepāja, as well as her own family members: her son Igo, grandsons, and also black-and-white (or gray-white) images of Liepāja theater actors, photographed on film and printed using analog techniques. The album also includes still lifes and views of Liepāja.

Everyone who has become Irina Tīre's artistic model is depicted in the album as a gentle, bright, ethereal being, next to whose portrait at the end of the section there is also a name reference alongside a small photo.

"Irina Tīre - photo artist, graphic artist, dancer - was born on October 29, 1937, in Liepāja. Since 1978, a member of the Liepāja People's Photo Studio. Awarded the honorary title AFIAP (photo artist) by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP). In 2007, received the title "Person of the Year of Liepāja"."

Those who carefully look through all more than 180 pages of the book, both in portraits and still lifes, will have the opportunity to see almost the whole life of Irina Tīre.
