About this coffee
Jane Wanjiku Kiriri is the founder and owner of WanRich Coffee - a small coffee farm in Kitale County, Western Kenya. The plantation is located at an altitude of 1800m on the volcanic western slopes of Mount Elgon - a region known for its even rainfall and favorable microclimate. Jane follows the principles of organic farming - does not use pesticides, uses natural fertilizers. The high-altitude environment and mild climate allow the berries to ripen slowly, creating bright acidity and a pronounced flavor.
